Thomas-Bernd Quaas

Thomas -Bernd Quaas (* 1952 in Glauchau, Saxony ) is a German manager and was from 2005 to 2012 Chairman of the Board of Beiersdorf AG.

Life

Shortly before the building of the Berlin Wall ( 1961), his family fled to the West. Quaas began his professional career after completing his studies in business administration in Frankfurt am Main in 1979 at Beiersdorf AG. He worked there as a trainee and later became Sales and Marketing Director Germany.

After he was appointed to the Executive Board of Beiersdorf AG in 1999 and there was responsible for the medical division as well as the areas of purchasing, production and logistics, it was founded in May 2005 as the successor of Rolf Kunisch CEO.

Quaas is married and has two sons.
