Thomas Dietz

Thomas Dietz (born 19 May 1982) is a German professional juggler from Regensburg. He is regarded as one of the technically best jugglers in the world and holds the world record in the 5- lobe juggling 53 minutes and 21 seconds, and a number of unofficial world records.

2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 he won the title of Overall Champion at the World Championship of WJF ( World Juggling Federation) in Las Vegas. At Dietz's specialties include pirouettes and long runs, crossovers behind the back, as well as complex Siteswap variations.

Much of his fame he owes to the publication of several juggling videos on the internet that was created in collaboration with Mark " shame " Probst.

Biography

Thomas Dietz was born in 1982 in Regensburg. His artistic career began in the age of 4, training and competitions were part of his childhood and youth. In 2003, he completed his training at the State School of Circus Arts in Berlin.

International success achieved Thomas Dietz in the competitions of individuals Competitions in Buffalo, IJA ChampionChips in August 2004, where he reached the 1st place. In the competitions of Numbers Competitions once he reached the 1st place and two 3rd place. Another year later, in 2005, Thomas Dietz was the first time Overall Champion at the World Championships the WJF ( World Juggling Federation). He was able to convince in the disciplines of Advanced Competitions, pirouettes, endurance and freestyle. Of the fourteen competitions he could decide for nine, of which all three individual disciplines in freestyle. In 2006 and 2007 he repeated this success. In 2008 he was again able to win the overall championship title for himself and at the same time leave of his participation in the World Championships in order to focus more intensively turn to his work as an Artist in gala shows and variety shows.

Since 2004, Thomas Dietz leads his own stage show to with the title " Super Juggling Race Game". Together with Stefan Zimmermann and Mark Furtnerteich he performs as "The Three Jonglöre " on. Since 2009, Thomas Dietz taught in separate juggling workshops.
