Thomas F. Terrell

Thomas Terrell Fountain ( born July 5, 1866 in Kentucky; † October 28, 1939 in Rochester, Minnesota ) was an American politician. Between 1901 and 1903 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Idaho.

Career

Thomas Terrell was born in Kentucky. About his youth and education, nothing is handed down. Later he must have studied law, because he was working as a lawyer. At an unknown date he came to Pocatello, Idaho. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party. In 1900 he was elected to the side of Frank W. Hunt for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. This post he held from January 7, 1901 to January 5, 1903. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. Thomas Terrell was married to Grace Jenks. He died on October 28, 1939 in Rochester, and was buried in Pocatello.
