Life and work
Thomas Fritsch is the son of actor Willy Fritsch and the dancer and actress Dinah Grace (aka Ilse Schmidt). When the war ended, the family fled to Hamburg, where Fritsch studied post-high school at Edward Marks, the director of the drama class of the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, also still took singing and ballet lessons.
