Thomas Gansch

Thomas Gansch ( born December 31, 1975 in St. Pölten ) is an Austrian trumpeter.

Gansch grew up in Melk on the youngest child of a family of musicians. His father, Johann Gansch was, brass - conductor and composer, brother of Hans Gansch is professor of trumpet at the Salzburg Mozarteum. At the age of 15, he began his studies at the Academy of Music in Vienna. During this time, formed the band music ensemble Mnozil Brass, as its musical director and presenter he occurs intermittently in appearance.

1999 Gansch was taken by Mathias Rüegg in the Vienna Art Orchestra ( VAO ). Together with other members of the VAO Gansch founded his first band Gansch & Roses for which he created himself compositions and arrangements. 2001 and 2002 Gansch & Roses was always as Stage Band of the Vienna jazz premises Porgy & Bess on stage.

In addition to his involvement in jazz and brass music groups Gansch also appears as the singer of Viennese songs and pop songs.
