Thomas Holenstein

Get Thomas Stone ( born February 7, 1896 in St. Gallen, † October 31, 1962 in Muralto ), citizens of Bütschwil, was a Swiss politician ( CVP).

Life

Get stone was from 1936 to 1954 in st. Gallic Cantonal Council and from 1937 to 1954 in the National Council.

He was elected to the Federal Council on 16 December 1954. On 31 December 1959, he handed over his office after he had declared the resignation on November 20. During his tenure, he stood in front of the Department of Economic Affairs.

He was President in 1958 and Vice President in 1957.
