Thomas Ignatius Maria Forster

Thomas Ignatius Maria Forster ( born November 9, 1789 in London, † February 2nd 1860 in Brussels ) was an English naturalist. He was the eldest son of the botanist Thomas Furley Forster ( 1761-1825 ).

Forster was a private scholar and resulted mainly from astronomical and meteorological studies.

He was a member of the Royal Astronomical Society.
