Thomas John Hennen ( born August 17, 1952 in Albany, Georgia, United States) is a former American astronaut.

Since 1973 hens worked in various military intelligence units of the United States Army. From 1981, he also developed systems for military reconnaissance from space.

Astronauts activity

In September 1988, he was selected by the U.S. Army as a payload specialist candidate and trained as of March 1989 for the so-called Terra Scout program. In August, he was appointed as payload specialist for STS- 44 began in 1990 and astronaut training at NASA.
