Thomas Johansson
Thomas Johansson ( born March 24, 1975 in Linköping ) is a former Swedish tennis player.
Career
The greatest success of his career was winning the Australian Open 2002 in Melbourne. In 2005 he made it to the semi-finals at Wimbledon. Together with Simon Aspelin he won at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, the silver medal in doubles; while he lost in the final to the Swiss Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka.
Between 1998 and 2009 he played 17 matches for the Swedish Davis Cup team.
In June 2009 he announced his retirement from professional tennis.
