Thomas Jordan (athlete)

Thomas Michael Jordan (born 15 March 1949 in Aachen ) is a former German track and field athlete.

Sports career

1970 Thomas Jordan in Berlin German champion in the 400-meter in 45.4 s was He won at the European Championships 1971 in Helsinki with the West German 4 x 400 - meter relay in the time of 3:02,9 min. the gold medal ( other relay runners: Horst -Rüdiger Schlöske, Martin Jellinghaus and Hermann Köhler ). In the 400 -meter run this European Championships he finished fifth in 46.0 s

Jordan was one of the sports club Bayer Leverkusen at 04. In his playing days, he was 1.79 m tall and weighed 68 kg. His personal best times were about 200 meters 20.9 s and 45.4 s over 400 meters
