Thomas Mavros

Thomas Mavros (Greek Θωμάς Μαύρος, born March 31, 1954) is a former Greek football player.

Career

Mavros began his career at Panionios Athens 1970. 1976 he moved without the consent of Panionios AEK Athens. With AEK he was twice Greek champions and twice won the Greek Cup. In 1987 he returned to Panionios back and finished his career in 1991. AEK When he was three times top scorer in the Greek league with Panionios in 1990 again. In 1979, he even won the Silver Shoe in Europe. He is the best scorer in the Greek league of all time.

Internationally, he played 36 times for his country, Greece, scoring eleven goals. He took part in Italy at the European Football Championship 1980. He was employed in all three games.
