Thomas Pirker

Thomas Pirker (born 17 January 1987) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Pirker began his career in the AKA FC Kärnten, rather he moved to SV Spittal / Drau 2005. After a year in Spittal he went to FC Kärnten, in the First League. Following the acquisition of Traun by the SK Austria Kärnten, FC Kärnten has cooperation agreements of the first division and thus was allowed to play in the First League Pirker and in the Bundesliga in Austria. His debut in the Bundesliga was the Carinthian on 11 August 2007 at the 6th round match between SK Austria Kärnten and SV Mattersburg. Pirker was part of the successful Austrian U20 national team, which was able to win the fourth place at the Junior World Championships 2007 in Canada. It was used during the tournament twice. In January 2009, he joined the 1st FC Vöcklabruck, but he could not prevent the descent of the team.

After only three games in Vöcklabruck, he joined in the summer of 2009 Carinthian regional league WAC / St. Andrae, with whom he made the promotion to the First League. Two years later, he moved from the WAC to SK Austria Klagenfurt.
