Thomas Reck

Thomas Werner Reck ( born January 16, 1964 in Ulm ) is a former German hockey player and two-time silver medalist at the Olympic Games.

Thomas Reck played during his career for the Munich- SC. 1982 was stretching to the German squad at the Junior World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, where the German team won the title. In October 1982, he made his debut in the German national hockey team. His first major success was the bronze medal at the European Championships 1983. 1984 won stretching with the German team at the European Indoor Championships. At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles stood with his ten-year older Reinhard Krull and Thomas stretching two players for the Right Wing position in the German squad took turns. Even in the final against Pakistan, which lost the German team with 1:2, both players were involved. Thomas Reck won the 1986 at the World Championships in London as well as the bronze medal, as at the European Championships in Moscow in 1987. 1988 in Seoul, stretching again lost an Olympic Final, this time against the British team. Overall, had Thomas stretching from 1982 to 1991 in 193 international matches with, of which 29 are in the hall.
