Thomas Rosenboom

Thomas Rosenboom ( born January 8, 1956 in Doetinchem, The Netherlands) is a Dutch writer.

Roseboom attended high school in Arnhem and studied psychology for three years in Nijmegen. He then went to Amsterdam to study Dutch Studies. Since his graduation in 1983, he lives and works as a freelance writer.

He made his debut as an author with the narrative Bedenkingen that in the magazine De Revisor was published in 1982. In 1983 a first separate book containing three stories, in 1985, his first novel Vriend van merits. His breakthrough 1994 marked the Roman Gewassen vlees, which was awarded the Libris Literature Prize.
