Thomas Thould

Thomas Henry Thould ( born January 11, 1886 in Weston -super- Mare, North Somerset, † 15 June 1971 ) was a British water polo player.

Apart from war missions with the Royal Engineers, the engineering corps of the British Army, Thould spent his life as an employee of a gas station in Weston -super- Mare, where he worked for 35 years.

Thould formed together with Paul Radmilovic the backbone of the local water polo club, winning the national championships in 1906 and 1907. Additionally, he won numerous swimming title. At the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he also participated as part of the British national team and could retreat after Austria without a fight to reach the final before the first round, which was won against Belgium with 9:2.
