Thompson Square is an American country duo, founded in Nashville.
Biography
Shawna Thompson grew up in Alabama on in Chatom and came across her father to the music. Keifer Thompson comes from Oklahoma. Both went in 1996 around the same time in the country capital Nashville, met shortly afterwards at a singing contest and fell in love. Although they were a couple, each pursuing his own music career for themselves. Only in the late 2000s they appeared as a duo and thus had so much success that they were taken in 2010 from Stoney Creek Records.
For the promotion of equal appeared in June of the same year their first single Let's Fight, while they were working on her debut album for the coming year. Advance the song Are You Gonna Kiss Me or 2011 was published at the beginning of trouble. Mid-February, then appeared the album with the band name as a title, it grew successfully at # 3 of the Country albums. The song also climbed after getting further and reached in April Charts # 1 in the Country Songs and # 32 on the official singles chart. About a million copies (platinum ) has sold the song.
