Thor (Marvel Comics)

Thor is a comic book character from the Marvel universe. The figure of the superhero was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in 1962 in Journey Into Mystery # 83

Character

The character of the figure is based on the thunder god Thor. Many of its characteristics and its history were taken from Norse mythology. As the god of Norse mythology, he is also in the comic the son of father of the gods Odin and Forjgyn that gives him his powers as Asathor. He also owns a weapon the hammer Mjolnir.

Thor is a giant, with its size of 1.98 m and a weight of 290 kg, it has an exceptional strength. He is a member of the Avengers. The thunder god was banished as punishment for disobeying the non-interference pact of earthly gods in the Marvelrealität by his father Odin to the ground. • In The Return of the Incredible Hulk ( 1988) Thor makes an appearance alongside the Marvel comic book character Hulk.

• Thor was filmed under the same title as part of the Marvel Cinematic Series 2011. Starring Chris Hemsworth was seen. Shortly before the animated film Thor appeared: Tales of Asgard on DVD and Blu -ray. 2012 Thor appeared in the movie The Avengers as a sequel to Thor again, but this time only as part of a superhero team.

• Thor's next solo adventure came on 31 October 2013 under the title "Thor - The Dark Kingdom" in the German cinemas. All the actors from the previous films embody their roles in the sequel. As a dark enemy is not only the earth, but all nine kingdoms threatened, Thor must take up his dangerous journey to save the universe. His mission unites him with his great love, Jane Foster, requires of him but also immense sacrifice.
