Thoracic cavity

As the thoracic cavity ( glenoid thoracis, Cavitas thoracic, outdated cavum thoracis ) which comprised of the ribs inside of the chest in mammals is called. It is separated from the peritoneal cavity through the diaphragm. The main part of the wall forms the thorax and the adjoining it inwardly endothoracic fascia.
