Thoracoepigastric vein

In the veins thoracoepigastricae is a group of veins at the front and lateral wall of the chest. They run the blood of the veins of the skin in this area axillary vein. They form anastomoses with the superficial epigastric veins which connect the current areas of the upper and lower vena cava. A thrombophlebitis of veins or their branches is known as Morbus Mondor.
