Thorgal

Thorgal is a comic book series of the Polish illustrator Grzegorz Rosiński. The text wrote by 2006 the Belgians Jean Van Hamme. Since 2007, Yves Sente writes the lyrics.

The first volumes were published in 1980 in the French comic book publisher Le Lombard. The music will be released in Germany in 1987 as softcover at Carlsen Comics and now represent one of the longest running fantasy series in the publishing program dar. 2011 took over with Volume 32 of the Splitter Verlag publications in hardcover and gradually brings about all previous volumes still once in the original order on the French market.

Content

He is forced to deal with power-hungry rulers, narrow-minded gods, mythical creatures, forces of nature and fanatics. Although he often has to accomplish incredible feats, he is at heart a thoughtful person who wants to live in peace with his family. Again and again he is forced to deal with the harsh world to defend its existence.

Moreover, appeared on German between 1994 and 1996 a limited hardcover edition of volumes 1 to 9 in the Dutch PegasusVerlag.

Spin off

2011 saw the launch as a " spin-off " of the series, the albums series " The worlds of Thorgal ", The Adventures of family members and companions Thorgals has for content. We kicked off a multi- divider over Kriss de Valnor, a warrior who, " The people of the arrows", had her first appearance in the ninth album, and has since acted in part as antagonist and sometimes as allies Thorgals. 2012 launched a miniseries about Thorgals daughter Lupin, written by Yann, drawn by Roman Surzhenko. The Lupine act parallel to the main series, and plays at the same time as the Thorgal volumes from album 31 This series was announced in Volume One as a four-part series. The third album was announced, however, that this is the closing volume.

Computer game

In 2003, the Canadian game programmer The Adventure Company brought for Windows 95/98/2000 an action-adventure in the third-person perspective with the title " Thorgal - The Curse of Odin" on the German market. The software must be purchased in 2008 only in used condition.
