Thorstein Aaby

Thorstein Aaby ( born April 3, 1971 in Porsgrunn, † 24 July 2007) was a Norwegian guitarist.

In August 2000 he was a co-founder of the progressive metal band Pagan's Mind. Aaby played on the two albums Infinity Divine ( 2000) and Celestial Entrance ( 2002). In 2003 he left the band and went to the Smalltown Rockets. He can also be heard on the Kiss tribute album God of Thunder 's with the song C'mon and Love Me. In his last years he was a guitarist and singer in the Motley Crue cover band Wild Side. On 24 July 2007 Thorstein Aaby died at the age of 36 years to a long illness. Aaby also played guitar for nitro, Deadline, Sunset Strip and Silver Spoon.
