Thorsten Dauth
Thorsten Dauth ( born March 11, 1968 in Bad Nauheim ) is a former German decathlete.
Career
Only at the age of 21 years Dauth started with athletics. His best results he achieved in 1991 as the fifth all-around meeting in Götzis, Tenth World Championship, European Cup winner with the German team and German runners-up. In 1995 he reached the all-around meeting in Götzis with 8164 points, his personal best in the decathlon. Dauth was active as a decathlete and 1996.
Professional activity after the sports career
Currently (2012 ) Thorsten Dauth is active as athletic trainer at the 3rd division side Kickers Offenbach at youth level.
