Thorsten Nehrbauer

Thorsten Nehrbauer ( born January 12, 1978 in Bonn ) is a former German football player and current coach.

Career

Nehrbauer began as a youth player at the Bonner SC. There his talent was discovered by Bayer 04 Leverkusen and 1991, he moved to the youth of the Bundesliga. In Leverkusen Nehrbauer became the U-21 national team (13 games, 2 goals between 1997 and 1999 ) and in the 1997/98 season he was in the first team of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who finished third place in the Bundesliga. However, he came during the season not used and switched to Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 2nd Bundesliga, where he scored one goal in 25 games.

After the league was missed Nehrbauer first went to the Bundesliga's newly Arminia Bielefeld. Without having been used there, he moved already in the course of the first round back in the 2nd Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05 Here he was able to fight for the end of his first season, a starting place, but he lost toward the end of the second season. Therefore, he went in 2001 to the then second division club Hannover 96 in the first season he came on 19 missions, where he played only two games over the full duration and 16 got substituted. After promotion to the premier league he played but only two games: against Hansa Rostock on Matchday 7 of the 2002/03 season he came on in the 87th minute, a week later against Borussia Dortmund in the 88th minute only.

As of 2003, the active players in the midfield stood at the 1 FC Saarbrücken under contract. In the team, which took first in the Regionalliga Süd, he initially had a regular place. This he lost on the 7th match day, when he was sent off in the match against Kickers Offenbach. Towards the middle of the season Nehrbauer won his place back in the starting lineup and celebrated the rise. In the 2nd Bundesliga, he played in 21 games the following season, against MSV Duisburg he succeeded his only goal of the season. 2005/ 06 he came up with 32 games and missed the other two season games since he has been honored twice with a second yellow card. Even after the descent Nehrbauer was a regular player. Only after his red card on Matchday 4 of the club was without Nehrbauer.

For the season 2007/ 08 Nehrbauer moved to Kickers Emden in the Regionalliga Nord. After Emden voluntarily retired after the 2008 /09 season due to licensing reasons in the league, he left the club. In the fall of 2009, he received the eligibility for the Regionalliga West climber Bonner SC, his hometown club, for which he took until the winter break of the 2009/10 season without pay. In the first game after his obligation October 17, 2009 against VfL Bochum II he was in the starting lineup. During the winter break of the season, he joined TSV Germania Windeck.

After a brief stint as player-coach of the first team of TuS Homburg Bröltal in the district league Nehrbauer was introduced in January 2014 as coach of Westphalia division 1 FC Kaan -Marie Born.
