Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak

The Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak of ( Bulgarian Тракийска гробница в Казанлък or Казанлъшка гробница ) is provided with a vaulted brick "beehive " grave near the town of Kazanlak in central Bulgaria. It is located near the ancient Thracian capital Seuthopolis.

The grave is part of a large Thracian necropolis. Both the grave chamber and the entrance hall are decorated with murals representing, among others, a Thracian couple at a funeral feast. The Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak of goes back to the 4th century BC and the artwork is best preserved from the times of the Thracians in Bulgaria.

In 1979 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
