Three Bishoprics

The name Trois- Évêchés ( German: , Three Bishoprics ') stand for the three former bishoprics ( bishoprics ) Metz, Toul and Verdun in the ecclesiastical province of Trier. In 1552 they occupied the French king Henry II. Officially, they were with the 1648 Peace of Westphalia region of France.

They formed up to the French Revolution, the province of the Three Bishoprics.
