Three Brothers, Chagos

(Also called Trois Frères, dt " Three Brothers " ) Three Brothers is a small, uninhabited islands on the western fringing reef of the Great Chagos Bank ( " Great Chagosbank " ), which has the world's most extensive atoll structure. They belong geographically to the Chagos Archipelago and politically to the British Indian Ocean Territory.

The archipelago is located about 20 kilometers east of the Eagle Islands and consists of four islands, from north to south:

  • Île du Sud or South Brother (23 ha)
