Three castles of Husseren-les-Châteaux

The three exes (even Hoh Egisheim, French: Haut- Eguisheim, Les Trois Châteaux d' Eguisheim ) lie in the Vosges in the upper Alsace ( Haut -Rhin, France). The Castle Group is named after the nearby town of Eguisheim, but lies on the boundary of Husseren -les -Châteaux ( German: houses).

The three exes - from north to south Dabo, choice and Burg Weckmund - were not the same, but built in close proximity on a ridge. Such an arrangement of castles in a group of three is repeatedly found in the Vosges and in the Palatinate Forest, namely the three- stone on Mount Sainte-Odile, the castle groups Ochsenstein near Saverne and Hohkönigsburg and in Dahn Castle group.
