Three Sails

The Three Sails ( engl. three leaflets ) are three nunataks rising out of the glacier at the southern end of the Heritage Range mountain chain of the West Antarctic Ellsworthgebirges. They are located about 6 miles ( 9.7 km ) east of the Redpath Peaks.

Your name received the surveys from a geological survey expedition of the University of Minnesota, who visited the area in the years 1963-64. The name was officially adopted in 1966 by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names.
