Thung Si Udom District
Amphoe Thung Si Udom ( Thai: อำเภอ ทุ่ง ศรี อุดม ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the southwestern province of Ubon Ratchathani. The Ubon Ratchathani Province is located in the northeast of Thailand, the Isaan.
Geography
Amphoe Thung Si Udom borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Det Udom and the Nam Khun in Ubon Ratchathani province, as well as Amphoe Kantharalak the province of Sisaket.
History
Thung Si Udom was on 1 April 1992 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by six tambon from Amphoe Det Udom were separated. On 1 June 1993 Tambon Thung Thoeng was re- assigned back to Det Udom. On 10 October 1997 Thung Si Udom has been promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units
Amphoe Thung Si Udom is ( tambon) divided into five municipalities, which in turn in 52 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are in addition five - Tambon administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
Note: geocode 1 was initially awarded to Tambon Thung Thoeng, which was but returned to Det Udom.
