TI-Raleigh

TI- Raleigh ( also TI -Carlton ) was a Dutch cycling team that existed from 1971 to 1983. In the first years from 1971 to 1974, the team traveled with a British license.

The team from the Holding Tube Investments ( TI), which functioned as a holding company for bicycle manufacturer Raleigh was sponsored. The team of Peter Post and Jules De Wever was headed.

The team was successful in both tours, as well as in one-day races. The team for its successful team time trial was known. The biggest success was winning the Tour de France 1980.

After the withdrawal of the Raleigh Cycle Company as the main sponsor Peter Post founded the Team Panasonic - Raleigh.
