Tianhe-2

The Tianhe -2 (Chinese天河 二号, Milky Way -2 ' ) is a Chinese supercomputer in Guangzhou.

He reached in its first stage (June 2013) a computing power of 33.86 petaflops and is almost twice as fast as the hitherto most powerful supercomputers, the U.S. titanium ( 17.59 petaflops ). The theoretical maximum performance of the system is indicated by 55 petaflops.
