Tiantai Mountain

The Tiantai Shan (Chinese天台山, Pinyin Tiantai Shān, W.-G. T'ien -t'ai shan, sky terrace mountain ') or Tiantai Mountain is located in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang in the area of the circles Tiantai, Ninghai and Juhua. His most important mountain is the Huading Shan华 顶 山with 1098 meters, the highest of the Cangshan thing with 1113 meters.

He is well known for its numerous Buddhist monasteries, including the headquarters of one of the most important Mahayana schools of East Asian Buddhism ( Tiantai zong )
