Tiberinus Silvius

Tiberinus Silvius is in Roman mythology, a descendant of Aeneas and ninth king of Alba Longa.

Its predecessor was Capetus. He reigned for 8 years. Taking the reigns given by Dionysius of Halicarnassus with a back calculation from the traditional year of the founding of Rome is based, this corresponds to the years 924-916 BC

He drowned when he fell in battle in the river Albula, is said to have then given the name Tiber from him. It is likely, however, that the king bore the name of the river or the river god Tiberinus. He was succeeded by Livius Agrippa, in Dionysius of Halicarnassus is the name of Agrippa. Ovid are deviating Remulus as name.
