Tichina Arnold

Tichina Arnold ( born June 28, 1971 in Queens, New York City, New York, USA) is an American film actress. She was known for her portrayal of the role of Rochelle in the regular cast of the comedy series Everybody Hates Chris.

Life and career

The daughter of a sanitation department worker and a police officer attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Apart from school plays was published in 1986 Tichina Arnold as one of three chorus girls in Frank Oz's film musical Little Shop of Horrors along with Tisha Campbell. Now, her career began with roles in films such as How I Got into College. In 1987, she achieved a breakthrough with the television series role on the soap opera as Zena Brown at Ryan's Hope. For this she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 1988.

Then she played the Pamela James in Martin Lawrence sitcom Martin from 1992 to 1997 and Nicole Barnes on the sitcom One on One. In 2000, she acted again with Martin Lawrence in Big Momma 's House, also in 2007, when she appeared this time as his wife in the movie Wild Hogs. From 2005 to 2009 she was Rochelle in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris ( Everybody Hates Chris ). Arnold has a daughter Kai (* 2004), father of music producer Carvin Haggins.
