TID Tower

The TID Tower is one property under construction high-rise building in the Albanian capital Tirana. The skyscraper is the tallest building in Albania so far, the 83 -meter-high ABA Business Center tower over 85 meters in height. He will have 25 floors. Besides his height and the elaborately designed facade of the building is also striking for its construction, which tapers down. The building area is approximately 46,000 m², the inner surface of 4,240 m². The construction costs are expected to amount to around 50 million euros.

The TID tower stands just east of the central Skanderbeg Square (Albanian Sheshi Skenderbej ) between the streets Rruga Barrikadave, Rruga 28 Nëntori and Rruga Abdi Toptani in downtown Tirana.

The TID tower is part of the new master plan of the city center, which provides ten new high-rise buildings around the Skanderbeg Square to build a new landmark. The majority of the usable area of the TID Towers is provided for homes and apartments. Offices, shops and restaurants are planned on the ground floor. The uppermost also be built as a panoramic restaurant.

A corner of the building base towers over the historic tomb of Suleman Pasha, which could be saved from demolition by this construction.

Construction work started on 14 January 2007. In May 2011, the facade was completed. In February 2012, the external scaffolding had already been removed, but it was still missing on windows.
