Tiffany Yellow Diamond

The Tiffany Diamond is one of the largest yellow diamond in the world.

The diamond weighed in at discovery in 1878 in the Kimberley mine in South Africa 287.42 carats ( 57.484 g). The diamond was cut from a 228.54 carat ( 45.708 g) varied with 90 facets. Charles Lewis Tiffany acquired the diamond. George Frederick Kunz cut the diamond in its current form. Current owner is the American company Tiffany & Co. in 1957 was Sheldon Whitehouse diamonds contributed to a ball of the company Tiffany & Co.. Audrey Hepburn in 1961 the diamonds for photo shoots of the film Breakfast at Tiffany's.
