Tiffin Township is one of fifteen townships of Adams County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 5075 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Tiffin Township is located just south of the geographical center of Adams County in southwest Ohio, is in the south about 10 km from the Ohio River, which forms the natural border with Kentucky, and borders clockwise to the townships: Oliver Township, Winchester Township, Brush Creek Township, Monroe Township, Liberty Township and Wayne Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
