Tiina Salmén

Tiina Sofia Salmén (born 3 August 1984) is a Finnish football player. The defender is the Norwegian club Amazon Grimstad FK under contract and playing for the Finnish national team.

Salmén began her career at the club Helsingin Ponnistus in Helsinki. Later she moved to HJK Helsinki and in 2005 Finnish Champion and 2006 Finnish Cup winner. In 2007 she was elected Player of the Year in Finland.

On April 24, 2004, she made ​​her debut in a match against Italy in the Finnish national team. With the Finnish selection they took part in the 2005 European Championships in England and reached the semi-finals. In their previously 62 international matches they scored three goals.
