Tikkun (book)
A tikkun is a Jewish teaching book. A tikkun kor'im ( tikkun for viewing) is used as a teaching aid for the song of the Torah reading from a Torah scroll in a synagogue. Each page of the book contains a column with Teamim as an aid for cantillation, and a column without Teamim, as shown in the Torah scroll. A tikkun sofrim ( tikkun for recorder ) is used to prepare the writing of sections of the Torah scroll. It is intended as a teaching aid for the Sofer, draws up a copy of the Torah.
