Tilahun Gessesse

Tilahun Gesesse ( also common is the French spelling Tlahoun Gessesse, born September 27, 1940 in Addis Ababa, † April 19, 2009 ) was an important Ethiopian singer.

He began his career at Hager Fikir Theatre in Addis - Ababa. In the 1960s, the height of his career, Gesesse worked with the Imperial Body Guard band, one of the then leading orchestra of Ethiopia. Tilahun Gesesse is often " Voice of Ethiopia " referred to as ( the voice of Ethiopia ).
