Tim Booth

Timothy John Booth ( born February 4, 1960 in Bradford) is a British singer, dancer and actor. He became known as a singer of the band James.

Career

Booth studied at the University of Manchester and met Jim Glennie, Paul Gilbertson and Whelan know Gilbert, who were impressed by his skills as a dancer and singer, and received him as a singer in her band James.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the band was successful and brought out several albums, but there was frequently quite unrest between Booth and Glennie. Booth left the band in October 2001 and brought out in 2004 his first solo album Bones. In addition, he also began taking acting lessons. In 2005 he played the role of the disturbed killer Victor Zsasz in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.

Booth lives with his wife and two children near Brighton.
