Tim Butcher

Tim Butcher (* November 15, 1967 in Rugby ) is an English journalist and author. He works for the daily newspaper The Daily Telegraph as a war reporter and currently a correspondent reported from the Middle East.

International Butcher was known as author of the book Blood River from the year 2007. Therein, he describes his journey along the Congo River, which he in the footsteps of the American explorer ( and also journalist for the Daily Telegraph) undertook Henry Morton Stanley.

Butcher has two children.
