Tim Göbel

Tim Goebel (born 4 March 1982) is a former German track and field athlete, who specializes in the 100 -meter run.

Goebel celebrated his greatest sporting achievements in 2001 in the jersey of the ASV Köln. In this year he became German champion in the 60 - meter dash and the 100 -meter run. He also won the silver medal at the European Junior Championships Grosseto over 100 meters. In addition, at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon with the sixth place in the 60 - meter race he managed his best finish at an international championship in the asset class.

After Goebel had been placed largely in the 2002 season through injury incapacitated, he moved to the end of the year for TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Since the spring, he was looked after by the local coach Gerd Osenberg. 2003 Goebel was the third time after 2000 and 2001 German champion in the 60 meter dash. About the same distance, he finished in seventh place at the Indoor Athletics Championships 2005 in Madrid.

After the 2007 season, Goebel finished his performance athletic career for family reasons.
