Tim Gunn

Timothy M. Gunn ( born July 29, 1953 in Washington, DC) is an American fashion designer.

Life

After leaving school, Gunn attended the private University Corcoran College of Art and Design, where he reached the BFA in design (sculpture). Gunn worked from 1982 to 2007 member of the faculty of Parsons The New School for Design. From August 2000 to March 2007 Gunn led the fashion design area at the school. In U.S. television, he is nationally known for his participation in the television series Project Runway. Gunn lives openly asexual in New York City.

Furthermore, he played himself in two episodes of the U.S. sitcom How I Met Your Mother ( 100th episode, in 2010 and the 188th episode, 2013). In 2009 he was a guest star on Drop Dead Diva. He was also seen in the 2010 series Gossip Girl, in which he played himself on an episode. An acting role as Henri he had for the film The Smurfs.
