Tim Harden

Tim Harden ( born January 27, 1974 in Kansas City, Missouri) is a former American track and field athlete who specialized discipline were the sprint distances.

Sporting successes

Harden participated in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta in part and won along with Jon Drummond, Michael Marsh and Dennis Mitchell in the 4 x 100 meters relay silver medal behind the team from Canada and ahead of Brazil.

Also as a single starter Harden was successful: he won at IAAF World Indoor Championships two medals: 1999 silver and 2001 gold each in the 60 - meter sprint. At the World Indoor Championships in 1999, Harden had it in 6.43 s, the four fastest ever way past time for this distance, beaten only by 1/100th of a second Maurice Greene.

Doping

Due to a positive doping tests Harden lost his 1998 national indoor title in the 60 - meter dash.
