Tim Maeyens

Tim Maeyens ( born August 23, 1981 in Bruges ) is a Belgian rower who reached the Olympic finals in One 2004 and 2008.

1999 Maeyens won bronze at the World Junior Championship. In the adult class, he initially joined in the double sculls, but then moved back into the One. In 2004 he reached the Rowing World Cup in Munich with the third place his first podium finish at the 2004 Olympics, he finished sixth. In the next few years he reached at the World Championships came in fourth (2005 ), five (2006) and seven ( 2007), in the finals of the Olympic Regatta 2008 he missed fourth barely a medal. 2009 Maeyens get two third places in the World Cup, the World Championships, he finished again fourth.
