Tim Wellens

Tim Wellens (born 10 May 1991 Sint- Truiden ) is a Belgian cyclist.

Wellens came from the sport of mountain biking to cycling. So it was in 2008 Belgian champion Junior Cross Country. From 2009 to 2011, he won a few races in Europe in its class. In 2012 he moved to Lotto Belisol U23 team and in July of the same year for UCI ProTeam Lotto Belisol team where he could retract some victories at smaller tours.

Tim Wellens comes from a cycling family. His father Leo Wellens, his brother Yannick Wellens and his two uncles Johan and Paul Wellens are or were also cyclists.
