Timbarra River (New South Wales)

The Timbarra River ( also: Rocky River) is a river in the northeast of the Australian state of New South Wales.

Geography

The river rises 8 km southwest of the town of Glen Elgin on the Gwydir Highway and flows to the northeast. 2 km south of the town of Tabulam on the Bruxner Highway it flows into the Clarence River.

In its upper reaches it flows through the southern part of Washpool National Park and happens in the middle reaches of the Timbarra National Park in the southeast.
