Timbuktu Cercle

Timbuktu is the name of a circle (French cercle de Tombouctou ) in the same region of Timbuktu.

The circle is divided into six municipalities, the population was the Census 2009 124.546 inhabitants. Communities: Timbuktu ( the main town ), Alafia, Ber, Bourem Inaly, Lafia, Salam.
