Time Machine

A time machine is a fictional machine for the implementation of time travel. Such machines that will allow any back and forth movement in time, are fictions: Although taking advantage of time dilation time travel into the future according to present knowledge feasible, but the design of a machine that accomplishes a journey into the past is, after current knowledge, not possible.

Time machines are a popular subject of science fiction. Seriously itself, science has, inter alia, on the basis of Albert Einstein's assumptions of a modifiable space-time and of findings at reduced spontaneous formation of matter in addition to large masses only with the transmission of 'information' in the past. However, these experiments do not appear due to the conditions ( high energy demand, large dimension) in the future be realized.

Time machines are often also the starting point for an alternative world stories. The fact that a time traveler changes the past, the story evolved differently narrated, and a parallel history in the making.
